Meet Your Provider
Hello! My name is Rebecca Hageman, and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant serving families throughout New Orleans and the surrounding areas. Since 2016, I have been privileged to support parents and babies through their breastfeeding and infant feeding journeys in both hospital and home settings.
Before becoming a lactation consultant, I spent many years serving families as a Licensed Midwife. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and joys that come with pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and caring for a newborn. Today, I continue my passion for helping families by providing compassionate, evidence-based lactation support tailored to each family's individual needs.
My goal is to help parents feel confident, informed, and supported as they navigate feeding their babies. Whether you're preparing before birth, experiencing challenges with breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, or simply looking for reassurance, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
When I'm not working with families, I enjoy spending time with my husband of more than 25 years, our two adult children, and our lively granddaughter who keeps us smiling and on our toes. Our family also includes a beloved dog who is always happy to join in our adventures. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, knitting, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
I consider it an honor to walk alongside families during such an important time in their lives and look forward to helping you meet your feeding goals with confidence and support.
